Please bear in mind that this is only an estimate of the number of people in a given city -- it may be possible to obtain actual figures from the U.N. and government sources. Please note that all figures below refer populations for individual cities, not the population for urban agglomerations. Thus a city like Manila in the Philippines may have a city population of 1.6 million people (within its official city limits), but a urban area population closer to 10.5 million people.
